Radical Honesty for a Broken System
Bleeding Hart isn’t here to hold your hand or find “common ground” with people who think your right to exist is up for debate. We provide an unapologetically left-leaning, systemic critique of the corporate ghouls and partisan hacks propping up the structures prioritizing corporate capital over human dignity.
If you’re looking for polite “bipartisan” discourse that goes nowhere, you’re in the wrong place. We aren’t here to provide “both sides” of a lie. We are here to fiercely defend the working class and relentlessly critique the structures that prioritize profits over people (from every statehouse all the way to the supreme court).

Our Mission and Vision
1
Our Core Values
It takes more than just empathy to fix a republic; it takes a clear-eyed understanding of how the gears are turning against us. They call us “bleeding hearts” like it’s a weakness that we actually give a damn about other people. It’s time we reclaim the slur. It takes a lot more heart to look at the rot in our system: the gerrymandering, the dark money, the flat-out theft of democracy – and demand something better than to just shrug and look the other way.
2
Commitment to Labor Rights
A “strong economy” doesn’t mean anything if you’re working three jobs to pay rent to a corporate landlord. It’s beyond time to move beyond identity politics and start to center conversations around class, wages, and the dignity of work. We are moving the conversation away from GDP and toward the actual quality of life for people who have to work for a living.
3
Advocacy for Democratic Integrity
Gerrymandering and dark money are dismantling the Voting Rights Act and destroying our democracy. This allows partisan GOP supermajorities to treat the “will of the people” like a suggestion they can ignore whenever it’s inconvenient. Billionaires are buying politicians and using them to bypass the will of the voters.
4
Corporate Accountability Initiatives
Unlimited corporate “dark money” is a cancer metastasizing through our elections. The media (on both the right and the corporate-“left”) frames issues to keep the status quo comfortable enough that people don’t fight back. The trail of corporate cash can be tracked from the boardrooms straight to the ballot boxes, showing exactly how Citizens United is being used to buy your representation.
5
Engagement in Social Justice
We’re deconstructing the narratives used by the billionaire-funded right to convince you that your neighbor is your enemy, while they pick both your pockets. We’ll show you exactly how the latest “conservative” talking points are designed to make you vote against your own paycheck.
